Back in the beginning of December, Nathan and I headed down to Waco for the Baylor vs. UT game... We knew it'd be an exciting game because it was Baylor's last game of the season, but little did we know it would be quite a showcase for Mr. Robert Griffin III!
My dad got to come to the game as well! Since our house consisted of all females (even Lucy!) except for him, he knows to be prepared for any situation... and this was no exception. It was muddy and wet before the game started, so I dressed comfy and wore rain boots just in case. Well, when the rain started pouring, Jeffe busted out two garbage bags. TWO! He used his as a pancho and I used mine to cover my legs. Love it :)
We ended up winning the game and Baylor finished the season 9-3!! A few weeks later, Robert Griffin III was awarded the Heisman Trophy for his outstanding work at Baylor. He was so gracious at the ceremony and spoke very highly of Baylor and the Athletics program. It has made us very proud to be a Bear! Both Nathan and I remember our years at Baylor when we would hardly win any games and never went to a Bowl game.... It's exciting to see how far Baylor has come and to see Baylor Nation rise up.
