Last Friday after work, Nathan, Patriot, and I hopped in the truck and took a little trip to Ennis for a drive-in movie! It was PERFECT weather and I packed just right with 4 pillows, 1 sleeping bag and 1 comforter. We were quite comfy as we watched Contagion and Are You Afraid of the Dark. Contagion was amazing but Are You Afraid of the Dark was not so great...
Patriot was very excited to be hanging out with the parentals... No he was really just excited to be in the truck :)

Saturday, we visited Barbec's which is a local restaurant that serves the best breakfast-- after my huge banana nut pancakes, we checked the White Rock Lake Weekly newspaper for fun things going on in the neighborhood (such hipsters). We ended up finding a library book sale where I found 3 Austin Powers DVD's-- Fabulous.
Saturday night we went to Rebekah and Scott's house for a little cookout/football watching party! The girls made a trip to The Christmas Shoppes (think Garden Ridge meets Bed Bath and Beyond) while the boys watched more football.
Sunday included church, an afternoon nap, and a walk around White Rock Lake. Perfection.
