9.18.11 was a very special day for the Cashes! We celebrated our first anniversary pretty much the whole weekend-- even if we just did something ordinary, we would reminisce about the past and how it's affected our marriage.... Saps, I know :)
On Sunday we went to church, ate lunch at Fernando's, piddled around some stores/drove around, saw the movie Drive (interesting choice on our anniversary), and had dinner at Oishii! Oishii is definitely our favorite restaurant in Dallas, so it was the perfect spot for our anniversary. Thanks to M&J for picking up the tab, even from Houston!
When we got home, we busted out the fireworks (thanks to SE&R!) and cupcakes I got from Society Bakery. Nathan's parents actually saved these two sparklers from our wedding and gave them to us for our 1st anniversary.... very thoughtful!
