We spent the 4th of July with friends in good ol Waco! On the 3rd, we met up with the Griesemers, Blacks, and Musgroves at George's where we ate and chatted for hours... When those boys get together, it is no short event!

Afterwards, the Griesemers and Blacks went to a concert at Wild West while Nathan and I went to visit the Mugroves' new house. Their house is just precious and very well-decorated! They have a neat sunroom connected to their house that is great for late night conversations.
On the 4th, we all woke up and had a delicious BBQ lunch with fried and grilled fish caught by Nathan a few days before on Lake Texoma-- Yum! Then we all headed out to Lake Waco for a fun afternoon on the water. We rented a pontoon boat and had the best time driving around the lake, chatting, swimming, and soaking up the sun.

After a wonderful afternoon with friends, it was time to head home... I think work on July 5th should be outlawed! To finish off the fun holiday, Nathan and I ate dinner at Ninfa's and ate way too much of their chips and salsa.
I think we need a boat like that!
