We are just so outdoorsy aren't we??
Since we live right by White Rock Lake, we figured we probably need to take advantage of it! Nathan rented a kayak and I used my own and we had a fun little kayaking adventure! It was pretty dang hot so we didn't stay out for long but while we were paddling away, we saw that there was a dog park not too far away that had a little entrance in the lake for dogs!!
So of course, we were off to the dog park!
Pate had a blast fetching his fire hydrant toy... That boy just loves water!
So cool you get to use your kayak so close to home.

We've been wanting to kayak in Lake Woodlands about 5 minutes from our house. Think we'll wait til it's a little cooler, though!!
