Progressive Dinner with the Phillips and Paulsons

Recently we got together with the Paulsons and the Phillips for a fun
Progressive Dinner
We started off at the Paulson's house for appetizers-- Shay and Adam prepared mango salsa, spinach and artichoke dip, and regular salsa.  They have the cutest little home and a sweet lab-- Rye and Patriot are buds.  We all enjoyed their living room/dining room area that houses a gorgeous China hutch that they redid themselves. Then we headed over to our house where we had pot roast and veggies served with a side salad and lemonade.  Nathan loves to make pot roast and since we have an enormous crock pot, cooking for six was a sinch.  The boys definitely enjoyed Nathan's man cave.

Last, we went to the Phillip's where we had homemade ice cream and cookies for dessert!  Kyle and Bethany just moved into their house a few months ago and have decorated it so pretty.  Her blog documents some of her favorite rooms in the house (including the living room which is my absolute favorite-- http://the-phillip-family.blogspot.com/).

Definitely a fun evening in our Lake Highlands homes!
