Last week we had Rebekah, Scott, Kelley and Drew over for dinner and games! It was so much fun! Drew and Scott were friends from childhood, Kelley and I were sorority sisters, and the Scott/Rebekah and Nathan/I are in the same Sunday School class. Love those connections!
We had a yummy potluck dinner and then enjoyed desserts and chatting afterwards. Patriot was a little unsettled until he decided to put his head on Kelley's lap. After his head was there, he put his paw up. Then slowly but surely he jumped into her lap and settled down. Of course, Nathan and I were shocked and told him to get down but he wouldn't budge. Kelley was really sweet to let him stay there (especially on her dark-colored pants). He enjoyed his spot there for about 20 or 30 minutes which just cracked me up.
After dessert, we played 42 which was fun! 42 with Aggies and Nathan Cash is pretty intense, let me tell ya!
Now all Pate wants to do is jump up on the couch!
