This year we celebrated our 3rd Baylor Homecoming as alumni... My how time flies! It was much warmer than years past, but just as fun.
We started off at the bonfire on Friday night-- even Mr. P tagged along. We met up with Caroline and her family, Chris and Sarah, and Betsy, Brian, and Kinsley.
We ran into lots of friends including the Paulsons!
We love going back to Baylor for many reasons, but we especially love reminiscing about times when Nathan and I were dating and we would take Patriot on walks all over campus-- he'd chase lots of squirrels while N and I talked about any and everything. Sometimes we'd let Patriot off of the leash so he could roam around if there was no one around. And I might have even gone inside the SUB once or twice to fill my mouth with water from the water fountain just so I could come back outside and squirt the water into my hands for P to drink. Yes, call me crazy, but I love my little doggie.
Back to Homecoming!
Saturday morning, we went to the parade bright and early. It was just announced that Baylor officially holds the record for having the oldest Homecoming parade in history. Pretty cool!
There were lots of kids and lots of dogs at the parade-- they loved on McKinnley (the Griesemers' dog) and Patriot quite a bit!
Even Miss K made an appearance in her Baylor cheerleading uniform!

We ended up tailgating and going to the football game, then heading back Saturday night -- it was definitely a fun weekend with friends!

Such a fun weekend when so many make the effort to return for homecoming.
