Adam & Mallory's Wedding Weekend

Last weekend was Mallory and Adam's wedding weekend-- Nathan and Adam were in the same fraternity at Baylor and Nathan actually lived on Adam's couch in Galveston for a while while he was working there... They have a special bond :)

Nathan was asked to be one of their Ushers, so we got to go to Woodfire Kirby's for the rehearsal dinner!  We have been wanting to try that place for a while (it's one of those fun-looking restaurants on the hip street called Greenville) and we definitely enjoyed eating there.  We sat with some of Nathan's college friends which was quite entertaining...

Saturday was the wedding, and boy was it a pretty one!  It was at the Dallas Arboretum (we've been wanting to go there as well!) which was the perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding.  It was a tad hot, so they had fans and water ready for all the guests.

After the ceremony, there was a cocktail hour outside while the bridal party and family took pictures.

Chris and Sarah are living in Texas now!  We are very excited that they'll be living only 1.5 hours away from us instead of 12+!

 

Their colors were yellow and gray-- very summery and modern.  They had a great buffet of hors d'oeuvres and the decorations were so cute!  There were bird cages and fresh flowers on each table which really brought the outdoors in.
