Our friends Shay and Adam asked us to accompany them to The Addams Family musical on Saturday which we of course said YES!
The tickets came with free Texas State Fair admission, so we headed there around early evening... Big Tex greeted us before we chowed down on fair food.
We enjoyed a corn dog, turkey leg, and fried Oreos and then headed to the mini zoo where we saw kangaroos, fuzzy cows, ostriches, alpaca, and lots more.
Then we headed over to the pig races... That was hysterical!
