We went down to Sugar Land a few weeks ago for Mother's Day and Kinsley's dedication at church. We started off the weekend with lunch with Ashley and Joey at Barnaby's! It was SO good seeing them and catching up -- and it was our first time to meet Joey and we approve!! They are a perfect match and we can't wait for their July wedding!
Later on Saturday, Miss K started off all the family festivities with a little entertainment. Brian's parents were there and my grandparents were on their way-- it was a full house! We all watched Kinsley play in her splash pad in the backyard which was just precious. She loves the water which makes this swimmer's heart happy!
After a DELICIOUS dinner -- Schultz's bbq, potato salad, etc. -- Kinsley received the sweetest gift from Mom and Papa Frank... a vintage baby piano which she loved!
It was really great having all four generations together especially on the special weekend of celebrating our mothers and celebrating new life.
Sunday, Betsy and Brian dedicated themselves to raising Kinsley in a Godly home and the church family promised to help raise Kinsley. The SMBC pastor, Steve, walked Kinsley around the sanctuary during the dedication which was very special, too.
Afterwards, we took some pictures in the Reba Garden (which we always do on special occasions)...

After church, we all went to the George's house for a yummy lunch to celebrate-- we had sandwiches, chips, fruit, salad and chocolate cake

We spent the rest of the afternoon shopping at LOFT (yes, all 4 generations!) then Nathan and I were back on the road to Dallas...
Someday Miss K will realize just how blessed she is to have such a "cool/funky" aunt!!

What a sweet time! I especially love Nathan's face in that picture where K shared something with him. He has a weak tummy, you know!
