The Cash Family: Disney World Day 2

After a late night on Day 1, Day 2 started out a little later than normal...

We had breakfast by the water and Uncle Nathan fed the ducks with Miss K.

Then we were off to Animal Kingdom! This was one of my favorite days at Disney World... The park is filled with exotic animals, trees and flowers, and the details of each of the countries throughout the park were just phenomenal.

While Brian, my dad, Nathan, and I went on Mt. Everest (the roller coaster at Animal Kingdom), my mom, Betsy, and K got us Fast Passes for the Safari.

The Safari was awesome... we were hauled all over the area in a bus where we saw giraffes, rhinos, elephants, etc. Definitely a fun 45 minutes! Afterwards, we went through the forest and saw schools of fish, birds, monkeys, and more.

After a pizza and bbq lunch (we split up), we went to Dino Land which is a little amusement park at the back of Animal Kingdom. The boys rode Primeval Whirl-- and it whirled as you can tell below. Then we all rode Dinosaur (twice) which was a really great ride and headed over to It's a Bug's Life 3D.

It POURED after that so we busted out our ponchos and braved the rain. We took a train to Magic Kingdom where we had dinner plans at Crystal Palace. We had some time to kill before dinner, so we all split up and apparently Betsy and Brian put Sweet Little Miss K on the TEA CUPS!? If I had seen that I would have grabbed her tush off of there in a second. But, I digress. Nathan and I piddled all over the park riding rides and walking around. He's a great travel buddy and amusement park buddy.

Kinsley's parents redeemed themselves at dinner by introducing Kinsley to Eeyore, Whinnie the Pooh, and Piglet. You can't go to Disney without meeting all the characters!!

After dinner, Betsy, my dad, and Kinsley went back to the hotel for some beauty sleep while the rest of us enjoyed the Magic Kingdom's MAGIC HOURS (where they stay open a few hours late-- which is the best time to go because all the little kids have gone back to the hotel so you can ride all the rides!).

We finally got to ride Space Mountain after a nearly 2 hour wait the whole day as well as Splash Mountain (2 or 3 times), Pirates of the Carribbean, and lots more.
