Since we've moved in...

We have gone through hundreds of boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, wrapping paper, bows, and those little packing bubbles that you can't seem to get rid of!!  There have been way too many boxes of my stuff from Sugar Land and my old apartment.  There just always seemed to be "one more box" to go through.  And we have had lots of wedding presents to open which has been like Christmas x 100!  Our friends and family have been so generous to help stock our new home with amazing kitchen gadgets and other houseware items.  We have had a great time decorating and learning how to mesh our styles.  Ok, maybe it was quite challenging at first, but we are sure getting there!  We have gotten some new furniture and now we're on to adding curtains... Almost done!

I was a liiiiittle worn out

Here's a picture of my friends and me after the Baylor vs. Texas Tech game!  Although we lost, it was great to see friends and explore the Texas State Fair.  The best thing we ate there were two snickerdoodle cookies with Blue Bell ice cream sandwiched in the middle.  Yum!  My mom had to try the fried queso and guacamole.... and it ended up in the trash can.

And this beautiful rug is in our dining area... It is about 6'x8' and has the prettiest colors!!  Very urban.  Nathan bought this at Target for $50 when really it was $200.  Props to my mischievous husband for getting this rug for me!
